A question that was probably answered a 100 times, but I don't know the answer.

If I'm using a song in a short film that I want to send to festivals, do I have to get the rights for it?
Even if I make no money? What if I do?

Hmmm. If it is non-profit. May be Okay. There may be a lawyer you can call and ask. They should know.
