Muscadine wine time!

Got 12.5 pounds of purple grapes off one of my muscadine vines so far -- only picked from it the last 2 days. That's enough to make about 50 bottles of sweet red wine. And there's still more fruit on that vine getting ripe.

In addition, I've got a second vine -- bronze grapes for white wine. They're not ripe yet, but the vine is burgeoning with fruit! It's extremely sweet and last time it made such a beautiful and delicious white wine, people raved over it. Got 40 lbs. of grapes off that vine last year, and expect a bigger bounty this year.

Love that muscadine wine! Grown and bottled right here in North Carolina. I may have to start a business -- Graceway Vineyard and Winery!
