Hi--I want to do moving landscape time lapse using an HVX-200 that is moved in very slight increments by a Mumford time machine (http://www.bmumford.com/photo/camctlr.html). The time machine stage sits on a tripod, to which you attach your camera. It moves in very small increments per what you program into the controller. It's really meant for digital SLR cameras that can be remotely triggered. If the triggering interval gets out of sync with the stage movement, then you run the risk of taking a frame shot during an incremental stage movement. According to Mumford, you have to trigger whatever camera you use using their controller. Does anyone know if and/or how you can control the HVX-200 using an external programmable controller? Seems risky to me, if at all possible, but perhaps one of you HVX gurus knows how to do it? Otherwise, how can you v-e-r-y slowly pan/tilt an HVX during interval recording to give you that great sweeping time lapse effect over a landscape?
