I'm having a "multiply" blend mode problem in After Effects, so I posted some picts of my problem.

Please see first examples "1,2,3" I did in Apple Motion, where I have two circles: blue and red. Both circles have blend mode "normal" but they are grouped into a "multiply" blend mode so that when the blue invades the red, you can see the country borders underneath and yet the blue neatly invades over the red.
So here is my problem in After Effects (please click same link):
For this WWII documentary, I need the Nazi invasion of the USSR to be the exact same color that Nazi-occupied Europe is. But I can't seem to achieve this. The grey is lighter and I can't understand why.
IN AE my "blend mode" for the invasion mask is set to "color".
