multiple notification emails?

I couldn't find any threads about this, and I hope it's not just me, but I regularly get multiple email notifications when a subscription thread is updated, not all the time, and not the same amount of duplicates, but I just got

Same thing happened to me with PMs Shawn.
Checked my email, and I had 8 emails telling me I had a new PM...
Thought I was popular for a second, but no...it was just repeats.
