Multiple KSSM shock mounts

I use an Audio Technia 4073 and an Oktava MK 012. Should I have have a KSSM for both so I can leave the mic's attached at all times? Or should I just use one and switch back and forth?

Also, will the Oktava equipped with a BBG fit the KSSM? Its a rather short mic to begin with and the BBG shortens it even further

Yes, Oktava + KSSM is perfect (one of the reasons I always suggest that shockmount)! You want the capsule of the Oktava in the center of the BBG and it is just the right length.

Hold the band while you insert or remove the mic and they will last for a long time. As to having two, it depends on what else your kit is missing I suppose!

Thanks...as soon as my budget allows for two, I will get a second simply so that i do not have to switch back and forth in a pinch when filming

I've got two, and it's really convenient to just consider it part of the mic.
