i did a search in the forum and didn't quite find a match answer. its a pretty basic question, more of a newbie question really. so i will be given footage of different formats and i would like to know how to setup my FCP 6 sequence settings. i do not know yet what the formats will be but for example lets say i get some footage that is SD 30fps, some at 60i, some at HD 1080 or 720 or any other mix of footage. what should i be doing in my sequence settings so everything will eventually fit in the same timeline for editing?
i have never really had to deal with this in the past as i was always faced with the same file types and formats for each project so it was easy to drop everything the timeline.
