Multiple Clip Audio Gain?

Hi all, easy one today.....

Is there a way to adjust the gain for a group of clips, instead of each clip at a time?

I don't want to use the mixer for an overall gain, but would rather adjust each clip. Very time consuming to do each clip.

I couldn't find any answers in the index help files.

Thanks,
Darryl

adjust one, and copy and paste the volume effect to all the others by selecting them all at once.. dont do this if youve already applied keyframes to those clips for audio volume though, because it will erase your keyframes and replace them with whatever keyframes are in the clip you copied. otherwise the mixer is a good and easy way to go, if the clips already have keyframes, just select them all at once, and drag them to a different audio track. and adjust the mixer volume for the whole track that way they retain there keyframes, and all clips are effected by the added volume from the mixer without having to mix around other clips.

when having to apply the same effect to multiple clips, another option is to put them on a separate sequence_B, then import the sequence_B into your main sequence, and apply the effect to the whole sequence_B.

..you could also use a virtual clip. im not sure why people dont use virtual clips more, but its basically the same thing as importing it as a seperate sequence, except you can do it all within the same timeline. it basically creates a nested sequence of whatever you have selected to create the virtual clip with.
