Shot in 1080p 24pa on an HVX. Imported straight from the mxf using Raylight. My sequence settings are are 23.98, 1080x 1280, Compressor: DVC pro 1080@ 60i, and my clips show no rendering whatsoever. Play fine. No stutters. Editing on a 1st Gen Mac Book Pro 15", 2gig ram Core Duo, 2.0ghz. All media is on Firmtek 2 bay RAID 0, 1 terabyte (only using 300gigs) connected by ESATA. Editing on FCP 5.14. Monitoring on 24" Dell / LCD via DVI.
The problem is when I set up and drop a multiclip into the sequence, it asks for a "red" render - making multiclip editing useless. I'm editing a music video and I need the multiclip to make my deadline. Never had this issue with 720 p DVC PRO HD footage.
Anyone know what the issue and the fix might be?
