multicam workflow thoughts on FCP?

Three camera shoot, one separate audio track done by pro sound engineer person, so eight tracks total. I assume I lay all 8 in, sync either manually or using PluralEyes, then the question is: Do I color correct any/all that need it, then cut the clips I need? Or are there other thoughts on doing this? I'm under the impression that FCP won't allow me to do it the way I describe above, meaning color correct and then edit in and outs on the clips.

Or do I then export all the graded and synced material and create some other output to edit? I can't imagine that would be right, but I'm not that experienced on FCP, even though I've been using it for a year now.

Thanks. Always good to review multiclip editing. The reason that I wondered about color correcting first was that it was a studio shoot, same lighting for all three clips for the whole series of songs (16 songs). One of the cameras was slightly overexposed for the whole clip. I thought that it would make sense to dump a broadcast safe to it, then fix the exposure and c.c. to match the other three, create the multiclip and then start editing... wouldn't that make more sense?

What i found out is that it often is recommended to cc before the multi clip, Larry Jordan has an excellent YouTube video overview of it, in which he talks about doing cc first. I just did it, and will share my first efforts after it completes uploading on YouTube.
