Multicam does not work

When 4 separate windows are present in the viewer, clicking any window should select the new 'angle' but, the motion stops and all frames freeze.

I did have multicam working before but its NFG now.
Any ideas how to get it going. I have tried the obvious such as reloading software and updates.

Multicam's performance also greatly depends on the formats you're using, your processor and hard drive speed. Perhaps you could elaborate a little so we can help?
