Hi all,

Was just watching a movie that was shot in 1996, and one member of the sound team was credited as "Multi-Track Recordist". Has anyone ever seen this credit before? I'm guessing this was right around the time the first Zaxcom's starting being used, but does anyone have any insight?

Thanks!

Phil

He was grouped with the Production Mixer, Boom Ops and Sound Utility. And, I don't think this movie was released in Dolby. The post sound people were grouped in a different section of the credits.

You may be right on the Zaxcom - perhaps the backup from Zaxcom to DA98 on set recordist? Never seen that credit before myself.
