multi-language titling-FCP to web/ retaining video quality

Hello all:

Can I retain quality of video when I reimport an FCP-created MOV file to a new timeline and add a title track to it, then output a new MOV file?

I have produced 4 videos, each with 8 audio streams, and put them on DVD. I used the subtitle streams on the DVD to generate on-screen ID titles for the videos on the DVD (8 languages). Now I must create web-ready versions of the videos and upload them. (This means creating 32 videos, luckily they're all under 6 minutes long!)
I could either:
re-open my original timelines for each of the 4 movies and add 8 new title tracks, one in each language, which would also involve re-mixing the music cues and sound fx, (since I generated the original MOV masters for DVD all from the same timelines, sans on-screen titles)
OR:
simply import my finished, sound-mixed MOV files for each language into new timelines and just add an ID-title video track for each language, so each timeline would have only 2 video tracks and 2 (stereo) audio tracks.

Obviously the 2nd method sounds much more efficient and sane, but my question is: Can I retain my quality of video when I reimport an FCP-created MOV file to a new timeline and add a title (video) track to it, then output a new MOV file?

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,

What you can do is create a FILE - EXPORT - QT MOVIE (not compression) CURRENT SETTINGS... either self contained or NON self-contained (that makes a reference movie... just don't throw anything away or you'll lose the connection (and your movie)). Then, just re-import THAT file. No loss of quality.

Good luck,
