Multi-clip keyboard layout not working right..

So after i set me keyboard layout to mutli clip edit, and my viewer to open sync etc... and play my timeline when i make my angle cuts between my 2 angles and then press pause for the cuts to take effect they do not stick it just goes back to the angle i last clicked on but no cuts were made?

Any thoughts

Sounds like one of two things:

1) You are not cutting, but rather just switching. Make sure to hold the open apple key when selecting your angles.

2) sometimes you just need to double click on the multiclip and select open again just to give it a little reset.
