Hello. I'm new here - just finished filming and editing my first music video in several years. I used FCP several years ago to do several music videos for college, but not broadcast-ready. I apologize if this has been covered before, but I searched and couldn't find the exact issue in past threads. I am now using PrP 5.
I have specs from several music channels. The main issue is that they require multi-channel audio. They need stereo mix on Ch. 1 and 2, and mono on Ch. 3 and 4. I don't know how to access or generate a third and fourth channel. Do I create a 5.1 sequence, and import a four channel aiff file that I created in an audio program? If so, how do I mix/pan the extra tracks (Ch. 3 and 4)? Center? Rear?
Or do I create a 5.1 sequence and import a stereo wave file, and two mono wave files? If so, again how do I mix/pan the mono tracks to correspond with client specs?
I just want the audio to be on the correct channels when I deliver, and I don't know how to properly create or assign multi-channel audio tracks in Premiere Pro.
