Multi Camera Editing using Premiere CS5.5, 2 x HMC 151 & 1 x sony Z5.... AVCHD & HDV
Hi Guys,
I'm about to do a multi-camera shoot of a live event, using 2 HMC 151's and a Sony Z5. I find my system when editing multi camera sequeces in native AVCHD is jerky at best (like many as have read).
So Im wondering if any of you guys were in this scenario what project settings would you use? would you convert the avchd footage into DVCPROHD or AVI with the panny avchd transcoding software then drop it all into a HDV timeline?
My scenario: 2 hr long live event shooting on 2 hmc's 1 z5, to be edited and output onto normal standard def DVD.
Computer Specs: i5 quad core ivybridge 3.4, 16gb RAM, GTX560.
Basically - I need to be able to crack open the multi-camera monitor and edit live...without the terrible jerkyness of the AVCHD - with appropriate settings to mix up the formats.. hdv/avchd
Any help would be much appriciated!
Many thanks!
