Pretentious, tedious crap. That was my first reaction to MD. How the hell does Lynch get financing for his self-indulgent projects?? Maybe I'm missing something. Now, I do think Lynch is a good filmmaker. Maybe even a genius. Blue Velvet and Elephant Man are classics in my book. But MD seemed so damn long and pointless and grating. I doubt I could stand a second viewing.

I actually like this movie, though its really long. The lesbo action was great, but that mosaic censor over Laura Herring's bush--LAME!!!
