It's been pretty well established that MTV is using the DVX now, but I still caught something today about Britney Spears that was interesting. I thinks it's called "Inside Out and Up All Night," or words to that effect.
Anyway, Britney does a whirlwind tour of NYC clubs on Friday night, performing one song, hopping in the car, going to the next one, and so on, with all the security, advance teams, and production people in a whirlwind around her.
Believe it or not, it's actually interesting viewing, and there are all sorts of cutaway shots in which you can see the camera dudes with DVX's. All of the cameras are outfitted with big fill lights and shotgun mics.
The performance footage in the clubs may not be all DVX, but at least some of it is. There's also some great "rainy night in NYC" b-roll that looks like it's probably our little camera.
