I'm a dummy. I deleted some GH1 folders from my external, mac hard drive and lost a couple chips worth of video. I've tried DataRescue and StellarPhoenixPhotoRecovery but neither recognize the .MTS file format. Any advice?

Of course, to recover files mac from external drive you can opt for some manual methods or try any other recovery tool. this would be much better. Data will be recovered only in case if it has not been overwritten yet.
