MTS File Conversion

Hey guys. Just wondering what I can convert my native MTS files from my Canon HF S100 to in order to keep the best quality in Vegas.

BTW....I use the Xilisoft HD Video Converter

I've tried converting to MPG4 and HD WMV but they seem to lose quite a bit of quality and are blurry and seem slower than normal.

And Yes, I choose "highest quality" on Xilisoft and I use best quality 720p HD when rendered out of Vegas.

Hey, Honestly I wouldn't convert MTS to anything, it's a fine format. If you really demand for a purpose, then go with .avi uncompressed. There are many converters that will do the job - just google it!
