Mr. Yung

It is disappointing that many other people didn't do a project for the Zombie fest. Only two took the time to put together their films. So those that may want to see this film - Mr. Yung - here is the link. It is only five minutes long so try to watch it to the very end for the final twist.

So far 141 people have check this page but only 19 people actually watch the film according to Youtube. So this might be the reason why the DVXfest isn't doing so well - getting people to make films for the contest knowing hardly anyone will watch them. Lack of interest from almost everyone. As it has been mentioned a number of time people are more interest in the tech of cameras and gear than actually making films. So in the long run that is good for us that do take the time to make films - good or bad :)

I do thank the 19 people for taking five minutes of their time to see Mr. Yung a film that I spent four days filming along with spending close to $1k to shoot :)

A cute little tale revealing the mind of one twisted young lady.

SPOILERS

I really liked the initial set up on the road and found that section engaging. Good to see zombies running flat out, for a moment I thought oh no they'll be walkers, but out they came. Poor guy didn't see them coming hehe.

What I thought you did really well is sell us a fake zombie movie and then showed us the real movie. Not sure everyone will feel the same there.

There were a bunch of technical issues, but they didn't distract too much. I was reading something the other day where a well renowned director said something to the effect that shorts are harder to create than a feature, there were many other components to his discussion on it but he was talking particularly about story. And story is where I think this overall could have tightened up.

Great job on completing and getting it done on time. Congrats.

Nice video! I've been waiting to see the finished ones. I liked the story idea and also like that your zombies where fast. I don't think the slow ones are very effective unless there is a crowd of hundreds of them. The biggest issue I noticed while watching it was the audio. Over all a good job - and you actually completed it!

Our sound guy had something come up so I had to use the audio from the camera. Next time I will have a back up plan :)

Noel: Thanks for your feedback. I had to think for a moment about the London Bridge and you are right LOL I will one day have to updated that info :)
