I'm looking at replacing my current mini-DV camera with a flash memory HD camcorder, most of which record in MPEG4-AVC/H.264 format.
I know Vegas supports MPEG4-AVC/H.264, but how well does that format work with Vegas's chromakeyer? I.e. is there enough colour info for the Vegas chromakeyer to easily extract clean plates? Does it depend at all on which colour is used? - e.g. I was always told that green was the best colour when using .avi files from mini-DV tapes.
