MPEG2/rendering question

I'll try to keep this short:

I did a project for a church. They asked that I put the rendered file in MPEG2 format on a thumb drive. If I render in MPEG2, the audio and the video are separated, so it makes it difficult, if not impossible, for them to use.

Is there another format that is as good as MPEG2 for large-screen viewing that I can render to and the audio will be with the video? Or is there a way to join the audio and video in MPEG2 before I copy the file for them?

Thanks for all suggestions.

You can include audio in MPEG-2. Just go to custom/audio tab and make sure "include audio stream" is checked.

Thanks David. I've always rendered them separately and never even knew I could do that.
Will you ever be doing another workshop in this area?

I don't think anyone's doing any Vegas workshops anymore. Still, if enough people wanted it to make it worthwhile, I'd be willing. But it would have to be at least 20.
