Hello all. I am having much grief rendering mpeg files in vegas 6. The files are video clips rendered in canopus imaginate as microsoft avi's When I render these files from vegas using the Mainconcept mpeg2 codec, I get nasty banding in the reds. I can reduce this problem by pulling down the saturation to around 60%, but the problem is still clearly visible. The same file rendered from premiere 6.0 using the lsmpeg codec is perfect with minimal problems (no more than one would expect from RED) Is there some setting in the vegas mainconcept mpeg codec that I am overlooking?
