MPEG-2 smart render problems. Please help!

Okay,

Editing a Feature Length Film on Vegas 8.0

I've rendered the whole project to an MPEG-2 for DVD Architect.

Recently changed up the title sequence and the end credits. So I re-render the opening titles and ending credits to MPEG-2s. Opened a new project.. I match up the new MPEG-2s with my old MPEG-2 and begin to smart render.

When I view the new file in Vegas & DVD architect.. looks and plays fine.

I burn the DVD and for some reason the Smaller files I just added play fine.. but the old file plays back Jittery. I've checked project settings.. render settings.. everything.

I am going crazy over this.. I do not want to have to re-render the entire project again. Any thoughts? Suggestions? would be greatly appreciated.
 
Well, you can try re-doing what you just did with the "smart render" -- but there's really no excuse for not rendering a whole original file, especially if you plan to do anything with this film. Sure, it takes longer, but it's what you should do.
