Does anyone know how to use an MP3 purchased from the iTunes store??

Normally I will just convert the MP3 to an AIFF in iTunes then bring in into Final Cut. Or render the MP3 in Final Cut. Nowadays if you purchase a song from iTunes Final Cut will not read the damn file. ugh???

Anybody know any tricks???

Limewire? haha, seems like you don't want to go down that road,
have you tried burning the song to a cd. And then rip it from the cd? Or is itunes too smart for that?

I'd say that might work.

yeah i couldn't find these songs on limewire...
i tried to burn a cd as well but iTunes wont let be burn the cd...
maybe i try to burn a cd without iTunes.

iTunes will burn an audio CD for you. Then use QuickTime Player to import those back to your hard drive.

I burn CDs from iTunes purchased music all the time. I create a new folder in iTunes called CD Burn Temp. Drag your songs to that (it only puts the name, you're not actually physically moving the song itself) and burn. Then delete them from that folder (again, it only deletes the name from that folder, not the actual song file).

I've done the same as Ben also. The way I have done it is by creating a new playlist and dragging the songs you want into it. Then when you bring up that playlist the burn icon should show up in the upper right I believe. Or when clicked on the playlist go FILE->Burn Playlist to Disc. That should work. Also make sure you have the latest version of itunes.
When thats all done I just put the CD in and drag the files off the CD in the finder to a folder that I want them in.

Just wanted to interject that the reason this is so is to prevent illegal use of copyrighted music. It's no big deal for personal use, but as soon as you intend to distribute or exhibit publicly projects with music purchased from the iTunes music store, it's breakin' the law. (Goes for corporate and wedding videos too.)
