MP3 Player Software?

What are you guys/gals using to play MP3s on the puter?

I've been using Winamp for years and thought I would see if there is anything new that is better... Not unhappy with it but if something new and improved is on the scene I would like to give it a whirl.

Too lazy to download and try a dozen programs so I ask...

Anyone switch from Winamp and to what/why?

I've been using iTunes since I got my iPod. Works fine and is free. Oh, and makes syncing my ipod a piece of cake.

itunes work with PC?

Does it have a pre-amp function to jack the volume and equalizer?

JetAudio is pretty cool.

iTunes takes up alot of system resources. I wouldn't suggest it. Install. Run. Hit Control-Alt-Del and see for yourself. Yikes!

iTunes is a memory hog. It uses an average of 43Mb of RAM. Ouch! More than Internet Explorer, Winamp, and solitaire combined. Unless you've got unlimited resources or you REALLY want a new look then I would just stick to Winamp or try JetAudio.

I love Apple but surely they can come up with an app that takes up less system resources.
