MP stock in still cameras

I have been experimenting with shooting Kodak Vision 500T and Fuji 160T with still cameras. Its a bit tricky as most labs don't do ECN-2 process and MP film has a black carbon back that will ruin chemicals if not dealt with correctly. So I do all the processing at home. ( this is not for everyone )

Its been a lot of fun and I am definitely hooked, over the last few months I have gotten a lot better with the processes so I feal ok about posting some results here.

The first 2 were shot with a mayiya 7 with a panoramic adapter and then cropped to 2:35 the last 2 were 135 cropped to 5:7

Here is a beginners guide I found on-line that I have been using. Note: I think that there is one mistake in the guide the Bleach should be @ 38*C not 27*C

ECN-DEV4.pdf ( the org authors website is offline so I am hosting it on my drop box for now )
Kodak tech doc on processing
Here is a chemistry List surprisingly cheap for the massive amount of chemicals you get. Around $300-400 for 50 gallons of developer.

Some other thoughts:

You can get film for next to nothing if you buy short ends which can be had for as little as 0.15 a foot. Be careful not to get film that is too old as if could be fogged by now. Kodak Vision 3 is going to be your best bet.

I am also looking for some Kodak 50D stock if you have some please PM me.

Thats awesome man, Congrats on pulling that off! Ive been a big fan of the flickr groups who do this. Really looks amazing and totally different from the standard photography stocks.

BTW- There is one persons stream on flickr who has been experimenting with respooled 5219 and various processing techniques, including C41, push processing and silver retention (bleach bypass): HERE

Bleach bypass is definitely something that I want to try very soon.

5219 is such a bluet-prof stock, I accidentally under exposed it 2 stops and it still came out ok. I pushed a bunch of it a stop and it was fine. This whole experience has been great as I am now fell pretty confident with the stuff. ( its nearly impossible to f*** it up )

With the price of 16mm gear dropping as fast as it and with the new BM/cintel film scanner coming out I can see me picking up some gear.
