Hey!

Anyone bought anything from movofilms.be?
Seems to be mostly rebranded Chinese stuff? But they have some things that look a bit original. Good prices also (for Europe).
They have a few things I'm thinking of buying but wanted to see if anyone had any experience, good or bad, with them?

Not directly, but bought from TheCineCity (indian stuff) and the MB-7 Mattebox came with a manual that clearly states movofilms on it:

Not the best Mattebox I've seend, but as I had the chance to compare it to the RedRock one from the job, it's virtually the same, except the swing away mechanism is better on the RedRock and the filter trays are aluminum, instead of plastic.
All in all, it's not a bad Mattebox, considering it offers 4x5.65" filter trays at like 1/5th of the price of the RedRock.

It's not a bad product, so I "guess" other ones aren't bad neither. But still, it's still in the "knock-off" category, so you can't expect anything in a professional grade. Works well, to start with.
 
Ordered a FS700 cage from them. It's the same as the Camtree FS700 cage but under the Movofilms brand.
Great communication and speedy delivery so all seems good!
 
Looks like a carbon copy of the hunt indeed. Did you receive it yet? And have you added or do you plan to add additional weights after the shoulderpad?

Don't think it's a copy of the hunt, it's probably the same product (then it can be argued that the hunt is a copy of other products). It's very common that if you order enough you can put your own brand on it. A bit like Rokinon with Samyang lenses etc...
I probably have to add a weight... Need to start with a grip locator or something. But with the 7Q+ in front it becomes VERY front heavy... Maybe one of this things you put in your belt to rest a monopod-like thing on?
