Moving video to another track?

On Vegas 7, what's the easiest way to move a group of stills or video shots? I'm used to the "lasso" tool on other programs....but Vegas doesn't seem to have one of those that I can find...
any help is appreciated!

put a video track above or below current track ( ok if audio tracks are bewteen them ) .. highlight clips ( put curser on video section of clip - left click to highlight it.. hold trl to add more clips ) you want to move then on number pad hit 8 to move UP (above) or 2 to move down ( below )... or just drag them up/down

In the toolbar, there's a button with a cursor surrounded by a dotted box. That's the lasso tool.

what dave said...it works very well.

When you're working on the timeline, pressing "D" will toggle the cursor between its modes, too. You can get to the lasso tool that way.
