College is almost over and it's time to actually find something to do with my life. I'm trying to break into the movie/tv biz, so I'm thinking about moving to Wilmington, NC sometime around August. It's not too far to relocate (from Clemson, SC) and the cost of living is nothing like LA.
Like most other eager/ambitious college kids, I'd someday like to write and/or direct. I have a fair amount of video and writing experience. My abilities are almost entirely self-taught (or dvxuser-taught). I'm in the early stages of getting a freelance video company off the ground, but it's purpose is just to buy equipment and fund my own films.
Does anyone have any advice for a young guy like myself looking for work in Wilmington, NC?
