moving timelines between projects?

I'm doing a rather massive project and i'd like to seperate the 4 minute segments into new projects to keep it the cluster f*k down. I'd like to edit a project and take the entire timeline and import it into my main project without having to make it into one big file all the while keeping it in its original edited form with all the transitions etc.

I would import the original edited project into the new project bin.

yeah import it as a whole you mean right? as in a giant avi file? I'd like to keep it in it's original form, so if that is possible i'm not sure what you mean or how to achieve such results.

No, I mean, import the original Premiere project file. It will give you a new sequence in your new project timeline that should contain all the elements, including timeline.

Nesting, is what you are looking for. Nesting a sequence is done simple by importing a sequence into a new project's timeline (into a new seqeuence) like jade8472 described.
