moving sequences between computers

first post...
hope not to make the question too silly, here goes!

background: we are doing a project at my college and have 2 g5s each with fcp 5.1--they arent networked..and cant be...
each computer has all the raw clips (plus each computer has its own back up external...)
so the question is how do we move sequences between the two computers so we can smooth out the work flow in post? moving clips hasnt been an issue. but i cant figure out how to get any sequences moved...

have been lurking for 6 months...and basically the college project wouldnt have been poss. to complete without all the helpful folks on this site...so thanks for that

easy - just copy the projects from one machine to the other, or use Media Manager to make an offline and relink on other side.

Get on external FW drive, put the project on it, set it as the scratch disk for the project. Take that one drive to whatever machine will be used at that time.

I like sending XML across -- this way you don't have to keep messing with the project file settings everytime.

But putting the project file on a zip drive and copying it each and every time you switch would be perfect too.

Would this be the same if you had FCP on a laptop like the Macbook pro and had a desktop? I am planning on getting a laptop towards the end of the year so I can edit away from home but then when I am at home edit the same project or at least a sequence of the same project with the desktop if that makes sense.
