Moving projects between 2.0 and 1.5

I'm working on a project with some deadline sensitivity in Premiere Pro 2.0 (maybe this is a stupid idea... but I want the new color-correction tools). In case things get all messed up (it's a new release after all...) is there any way to take the project back into 1.5? Can 1.5 accept the EDL that I export from Ppro2? Or is there another way?
 
I've imported a number of 1.5 projects into 2.0 with no problems yet and the projects have remained stable as I've made further modifications. However, depending on being able to go the other direction sounds really risky to me but then I've never ventured into EDL. If you have a copy of AE 6.5 with the Color Finesse plug, I think I would use it for any advanced color correction and stick with 1.5 if you have a really critical deadline. I would be interested to know what you decide.

Already deep into 2.0 with my fingers crossed, haha. Kind of annoying cause I can't move between work and home cause I don't have 2.0 both places. But I needed to give 2 a spin (good reviews so far... king of resource intensive, but working pretty well)
