Moving from FCE to FCS

Would it be best to first remove FCE prior to FCS installation?

If not, will the associated FCE soundtrack and livetype files be overwritten during install or will they coexist with FCS.

Also, will all of my pre-existing FCE files with timelines be available for continued work in FCS?

They will co-exist but FCE projects are not compatible with FCP and vice/versa.
