Moving Away

Hello folks,

A while ago someone decided to move to France and he said good bye to all of us.
Now, I have just decided to move away from England, and go back to my country of birth to start up my own production company, and probably a studio.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to check the forum as I used to, but, whenever I have the chance, I will do because this has been one of the best experiences I have had. Even though I don't know you guys personally, I kind of became familiar with many of you guys: the Barries, Disjecta, John Hudson, Jarred, ThinSpirit and many more. All of you guys.
I have learned so much with you guys that I can't really forget that.

A big thank you to you all. Oh, Taubkin, a gente vai mantendo contacto.

Guys, I am really going to miss you. I will be checking the forum, but not with so much frequency, and it is really sad to move away from this great community.

Well, I will say a last good bye when I am about to leave.

I'll post some of the early footage I shot with the DVX. I have been wanting to do that for some time, but didn't really have a hosting space.

Well, now I sort of do. I'll see if I have time to post them before I leave.

PS: I almost forgot. I am not leaving without Barry's book for sure.

I think "All the best" is a British thing. Everyone here says that, that is why I got used to it.

Do you guys in the US use this expression at all?

This thread is the best way to illustrate the differences between dvinfo.net and dvxuser :
Dvinfo is a very good place with longest threads I've never seen (I like very much the alternative imaging method forums) but it remains a forum...
Dvxuser is a community, a real one.

I never laugh while reading dvinfo... ;D

We use it, but not in *every* post. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Yea, I've used "all the best" on the occassion, i'm more likely to say "have a good one."

Fidel--It's been great having you around and thanks for all your contributions to the board. I know you'll be sucessful with your company and we all expect some updates from time to time. I'm confident you'll be able to find an internet connection and will be visiting the board from time to time. Does the heroin addict quit shooting up when he moves to a new city? No, he may be feverish and sweaty for a time, but then he finds a new connection. 8)

Certainly, but the internet cafes over there still use 56k modems. Can you imagine? That is way too slow and I don't have the patience.

For ADSL, you have to pay around $100/month. That is way too expensive. But hey, it was only available until recently.

I'll try my best to visit the forum, because I really enjoy reading it.
