Moving a camera.

ok im practicing my 3D layers and created a "3D path"
its stairs leading up to a house with trees on the side.
i cut everything up in photo shop and have everything set up in AE.
My question is i added a camera at the end of the steps but i want the camera to dolly into the house making the trees pass on the sides as if you were really walking up the steps.
how do i have the camera dolly in instead of zoom?
hope i made my self clear.
