Just got this in my email:

MOVIEtube at CINEC 2004 in Munich/ Germany from 09/18/2004 to 09/20/2004!!!

Dear friends of MOVIEtube:

We are happy to announce, that MOVIEtube will be at CINEC 2004 and would like to welcome you in Munich, Booth II-A22.

Kind Regards

MOVIEtube Team

For those not familiar with MovieTube, it's an alternative to the Mini35 lens attachment system.

Re: MovieTube

finally, something enters the commercial mini35 market to challenge the P&S...

have you seen one? do they exist beyond the marketing?

the eternal question: pricing?

Re: MovieTube

Don't know anything more than what I got in the email. I remember a thread on this board a while back where someone said that this system was going to be a lot more than what the mini35 costs. So maybe it's not a viable option.

Re: MovieTube

Yeah, I saw that post as well, which was a pricing response from the movietube guys which basically said that it was *more* expensive than the mini35...

Re: MovieTube

Who would want a product that's more expensive than the P&S? If I had 15 Grand to buy a mini35 I'd just spend it on a film camera (Like one of those Kinors, yummy!)...

Re: MovieTube

Someone needs to release one in the $500 range. OK, I'm dreaming here, but you know what I mean.
