Hey, i now have my perfect camera setup, i have it set up exactly how i want it for my movies. But now that christmas is coming around i need something to ask for. Ive settled on movies, im asking for movies, but i want to know what everone here thinks is the best movie, or best 5 or top 20, whatever you want. Thanks for your time.

naw, i hate seeing movies i love but not owning them, its just an OCD thing with me. I love owning movies, my movie collection means the world to me.

Tape, Tigerland. waking Life, Falling Down, Adaptation, Coffee and Cigarettes, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Soylent Green, Garden State, Drugstore Cowboy. the Edge, Vanilla Sky, Night of the Living Dead, Taxi Driver. Easy Rider, and 28 Days Later.

Theres a few of my favorites.

Ok, well i own everything on NO CA$H's list and i own everything but count of monte cristo from Slimothy's list. I hated the book and hated the movie more, sorry:(

City of God, In the Mood for Love, being John Malcovich, The director's label series, the graduate, cool hand luke, requiem for a dream.

Not a film, but it sure seems like one....

"Lost" season 1. I'm not a big televison fan, but, this show is off the shizzle! Great television.

Hated the COUNT!!!! That's one of my all time favs.

Would that be the 2002 Count, or one of the many earlier versions?!?! I liked the 2002 version, but don't care for a few of the earlier incarnations of the story.

directors label series by palm...badass: http://www.directorslabel.com/

chanbarra's: hidden fortress, the samurai trilogy (musashi miyamoto, duel at ichijoji temple, duel at ganryu island), samurai rebellion (personaly i think this is the most amazing mifune movie ever made.), throne of blood, sword of the beast, kill!

the naked kiss, wit (hbo movie, best screenplay i've ever read), wings of desire (matlock as... matlock!), knife in the water, happiness of the katakuris, russian ark, by brakhage, 8 1/2, man bites dog (i dont like the extended cut as much), breaking the waves, jeez man can you afford more than that, cause i can go for a while...

You seem to have run out of things to ask for for christmas

Get monte his very own camera/other gear - it can count as my birthday AND christmas present (birthday is january 5th; I'm looking at you coffee)
