Lots of releases. Vegas can export them, too.
But who watches them? When, and why?

I think it's kinda cool, but I don't know that I would use it enough to justify the $250 price tag.

I wish I had a PSP. I have to take a train to school everyday it would be cool to be able to watch movies on the way. The graphics are pretty impressive on those little things.
edit: plus a new GTA just came out for psp... http://psp.ign.com/objects/723/723575.html

You can get internet access on the PSP just by updating to the lastest firmware. They built in a pretty good browser.

The adult industry has been all over this for some time.... I cant imagine why though, seems like that's something you'd want to keep private, although in Europe and Japan, adult content via SMS on phones is the biggest moneymaker going, so go figure???
From any content perspective however it makes sense. A traveling exec carries a laptop, but a youngster might not (remember those key demographics you posted a while back?) Also, in my neck of the woods, lots of folks commute on a train into the city for two hours everyday (one hour there and one hour back). These would be great for that.
