Movie Studio HD platinum 10

Hey,

We did some testing with it at the office and it seems like a really good value and powerful editor especially for the money. There seems to be most of the tools in the full Vegas pro version making it perfect for independent or consumer filmmakers. The layout is pretty much the same as Vegas Pro as well. You even get access to some filters, sound effects and features not available in Vegas Pro.

Another good thing is we tested it with Raylight Ultra and DVFilm Epic I and so far it works very well. You have to do a simple workaround to get it installed, but after that you can use it just like in Vegas Pro.

Best Regards,
Andy

They do have an upgrade price $49 which is a steal I think. Especially having the Magic Bullet Look plugin included plus I think 400 sound tracks. Working with the trial edition now but I'm getting wicked slow performance for some reason. Vegas Pro 9 works fast as usual. Running an i7 machine with 6 gb ddr3 ram and two one tb. hard drives. Trying to figure out the slow rendering reason. 10 min. video showing like it'll take 6 hours to render.???

I tried the demo but it seemed very slow to render with AVCHD material and very memory hungry (unlike competitor apps on this pc). Nice interface, great features, but I'm not sure if the engine is right.
