move 16.9 footage to anamorphic sequence

I shot my footage in squeeze mode. My sequence presets were not set to anamorphic when I started my project. Now when I export the footage, it isn't anamorphic. Any suggestions on how to get the finished project into an anamorphic sequence without recreating the entire thing?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Working on getting this project finished ASAP!!!

You can nest your original sequence in to an anamporphic sequence by dragging it from the browser window into the timeline of your new sequence. You may have to play with the scale, etc. (Oh and it may help to remove the distort attribute by pressing apple>option>v. Not sure why or what that does but I read it somewhere.)
