Movcam Matteboxes and Follow Focus?

[Grug]

Hi guys,

I've just stumbled across the Movcam Matteboxes and follow focuses, and was wondering if anyone has seen/handled/used them before?

The MM1 looks like a good match for my CP.2s, and the follow focus looks nice too - I'm just wondering how well the units compare to options like the Tilta/Lanpartes that sit below them (price-wise) and the Arri/O'Connor/Chorizel that sit above them?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Best reply of the week!

The Movcam stuff looks great but until I've used it , it is hard to tell. I've bought a lot of follow focus thinking it is the one. Then turned around and sold it as soon as I've got it, because the photo looked good but the quality wasn't...... So who is going to pull the trigger and test this stuff out?
