Mounting solutions for monitors in 2014?

Unfortunately it's for 19mm rods only (and requires that monitors have threaded side mounting holes, which many monitors do not).

Haven't done this yet myself, but something like this cold shoe to rod mount by Swedish Chameleon...

... could be mounted via an ultra-short 15mm rod to a rod mount by SmallRig.

As long as the 15mm rod was threaded and you could add stoppers on each end to keep the whole thing from sliding apart, it would probably work.

I recently was looking for the same.
Found the Xtender Friction Mount, that seems to be the only product similar to the RED LCD Mount.

I think this mount is just for tilting - not panning.
I haven't bought it yet, so I can't say if it's good or worth the money.
But I really like the idea.
I wonder why there are not more of these designs. There are alot of EVF holders out there,
but the Xtender Mount is the only with a similar approach like the RED.
Just wish it would pan too.

I'm the manufacturer of the XTENDER products and yes it does pan left and right as well. We offer all mounting options for it too!
