Mounting Sennheiser ME66

I just bought a DVX100A last week, and am now looking to get a good shot gun microphone. I plan on going with the Sennheiser ME66 with a fur windscreen. Can I use the mount that is provided? If not, any recommendations? And will the microphone get in the way of some wide shots?

The on camera mount is not really a good choice, because the mic will get in the frame on wide shots, the isolation isn't very good, and the mount is too close to the camera--making it easy to pic up camera noise. An AT8415, K-Tek K-SSM, or Lightwave Minimount will all make much better alternative choices.
