Mounting foamcore, cookies, etc. to regular light stands?

I just ordered several of these Impact Heavy Duty light stands:

I'll be using them primarily for lights, but was wondering if there's any way to mount foamcore, cookies, reflectors, flags, etc. to them in a pinch.

Ideas?

We do it all the time with basic spring clamps and/or a bit of gaffers tape.

hi vroom,

get yourself a couple of c stand knuckles.

i am using the avenger d200 models

they also make a fork with a stud on it which you can push into the foamcore and insert into the knuckle.

b & h site is on holiday so i cant reference any examples.

ps. also a shotbag on the base will stop the whole setup ending on the floor

Just get two 2" grip clips. Then clip the foam core to the stands and you should be pretty good. Plus, it only costs 4 bucks.
