I bought an Aviator a few years ago, however the monitor is in 4:3 SD, and I have been looking into purchasing an HD monitor to mount on the sled. However I'm not sure if it's possible with a brand that's not Varizoom. I had looked into possibly getting a different sled from Glidecam or Steadicam, but don't have the money at the moment. Here's a photo of what the mount looks like on the sled. The monitor itself has a area in the back to slide it onto the mount. It doesn't look like I can remove the mount and attach an articulating arm which I am guessing I would do for one of the Glidecam or Steadicam sleds.
Is mounting a different monitor possible? Or using a different sled? Thanks for your help!
