Mounting century optics wide angle lens

This may be a dumb question.... but how do I remove the built in UV filter on the front of the DVX100b lens in order to attach the century optics wide angle lens ?

there is no built in uv filter. if your thinking of the lens hood, then you just loosen the screw and turn the lens hood counterclockwise.

If you can't get the "UV" filter off, it may be stuck. Get some Channel Lock pliers and cranking it off. Remember "righty tighty, lefty loosy".
