What set up would you guys use to get 4-6 camera angles both inside and outside of a plane in flight, as well as audio of the intercom/radio system? The big test is that the aircraft needs to remain fully functional, and the camera equipment needs to be as un-obtrusive as possible, it also needs to be able to run for at least several hours, and the footage will be included in a HDV workflow.
So far the only idea I've got is a set of Sony XC-999, but what would be the best capture method, I dont think I would have room for 6 VTR's. Also it's a lower res than HDV, so it would need to be uprezzed in post/capture.
