Mounting a Monitor with 7D on a Steadicam Merlin?

Hey everyone. I use a 7D and I just bought a steadicam merlin tonight from one of the listers here. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience, or even knows if it's possible to use a monitor like the iKan v5600 HD on the rig. Can this be done? I would think it could be mounted on the bottom in place of some of the weights or in the center pivot position. Am I dreaming here?

i woudlnt want to use it on a merlin
id go up to a pilot or equivalent.

If you already have the Merlin, you can add the Arm and Vest kit to it. Not quite as beefy as the Pilot, but a solution that takes a lot of the pressure off your arms. From there, you should definitely be able to mount a small Ikan or Marshall to this.
